Guatemalan Paradise roasted by Verb Coffee
Verb Coffee is offering, as a Finca to Filter partnership coffee exclusive, a blend of small scale farms and growers in Huehuetenango Guatemala. It is sourced from a variety of regions some being Jacaltenango, Cuilco, Santa Barbara and Libertad. Varietals grown in these regions include Caturra, Bourbon, Typica, Catuai and Catimor. Huehuetenango is located in the Western highlands of Guatemala and lies in the Los Cuchumatanes mountain range bordering Mexico. Due to its location in relation to the dry arid winds of the Tehuantepec Plains, coffee cherries can be harvested at elevations up to 2300 masl without being affected by factors such as frost. We chose this coffee based off of its floral bouquet and unique berry/fruit profile. With a crisp taste and bright acidity, this coffee brews well hot or iced and can be enjoyed at any time of the day. Ally coffee is our supplier for this lot of coffee, we recently began working with them and look forward to cultivating a beautiful relationship as we grow.
Ally coffee pays 3.99 per pound and farmers are paid as soon as the coffee lands state-side. Shipping adds an additional .56 cents per pound.
